ABOUT THE MENTOR PROGRAM
Our FOCUS mentoring program is having our experienced CEO or vendors/partners helping you develop your goals and skills through a series of controlled, one-on-one conversations and other interactive learning activities. As your mentor, I will have the opportunity to share my wisdom and experiences with you and answer questions you may have about the industry. My role is to empower you and help build your confidence through constructive feedback and challenge you to reach your very own goals. I know we all have entrepreneurial expenses, educational goals and bills too, so this program also allows for our mentees to make sales commissions off of our products and services at the same time.
Why might someone want Kennette to mentor them?
You are a High school, college student or recent graduate wanting to study marketing or related field:

Kennette has been training Cerise since July 2022 starting as a Caesar's Pharmacy social media team. Due to a successful social media collaboration there, Kennette was able to see the potential in Cerise and foster it, eventually encouraging her to follow her creative and entrepreneurial dreams. 2023 Cerise officially joined our mentoring program and as a result has grew as an entrepreneur and creative and secured multiple contracts under Kennette's mentorship.

Kennette has been mentoring Keoree since 2022 after she reached out to FOCUS for guidance for her career. Keoree has multiple social media pages, a following over 30k and wasn't sure to how monetize her page and follow her passions. Keoree decided to #GetWithFOCUS Mentor program.
What will mentees do?
- It will all depend on the goals and schedule set however they will be able to ask specific career questions to course work and challenges they have or will experience
- They will receive specific, real life, marketing projects or business-related tasks to complete or coordinate with our CEO, OR in relation to their field of study or business
- They will meet monthly will our CEO and possibly her vendors and business partners for interviews, ask questions, learn things and gain real world experience with client brands and projects
- If desired, they will also get hands-on experience working with, marketing, or selling FOCUS/DISTINCT services and brands to build their portfolio and income.
Our Expectations
- Take this mentorship serious, complete every task, ASK QUESTIONS when you do not understand
- Always do over and beyond what is asked, that is the FOCUS Philosophy
- Make your deadlines, meet your goals
- Always think with an entrepreneurial spirit, not as just an employee/mentee/intern, this will help you when you are starting a job, as a manager or starting your own business

How to get started and how will this mentoring work?
1- Email me your resume to kennette@getwithfocus.com and also confirm your availability for our first consultation
2- Download my FREE Marketing 101 Guide from my newsletter available on my website.
3- Kennette will confirm availability for meet and greet consultation
4- We will devise a special mentoring schedule and deliverables based on the mentee’s goals an challenges
5- Our Communication will be in the form of calls, WhatsApp, and ZOOM Conferences and in person as needed
6- Upon successful completion, mentees can get course credit and upon availability will be given a career or any projects at FOCUS . Mentees/Interns can also be referred for jobs with our clients, vendors and partners and be referred by FOCUS for client projects.
7- They will definitely be better prepared for the workforce within their career or business
8- They will also be given a reference letter upon request!
